What becomes possible in Phase 2

Picture an ordinary week with At The Well fully “alive”: a table set with a warm meal, people who have carried heavy burdens for years finally telling the truth in a safe room, friendships forming that don’t end when the night ends, and practical direction and help showing up the next day. This is what we mean by “at the well”: God meeting people in real life, not just in a service.

Where we are going in Phase 2

Phase 2 is about building “doors” people can walk through—both literally and relationally. Practically, it looks like:

• Securing a consistent home base at City Hall (Restaurant and Pie Shop) in Huntsville—so our gatherings are held in a safe, welcoming space, with food and supplies available at asking at a nominal cost and at no cost for those who cannot afford the suggested price.
• Purchasing the equipment needed to hold services and gatherings (A/V and related essentials)
• Putting the right systems in place to run the organization well (software and tools)
• Hiring essential operational support so ministry isn’t dependent on a tiny volunteer base every week
• Building the technological platform that helps people connect, take next steps, and stay supported between gatherings

Our Phase 2 funding goal: $250,000

This $250,000 goal is a milestone, being enough to secure our first stable “home,” equip it, and build the operational and digital foundation that makes ministry consistent, dependable, and follow-through oriented. Without this step, we remain limited by setup, teardown, and a small volunteer base doing everything (including cooking and cleaning) each week. We would also lose the ability to reach people who cannot attend or offer formation tools between gatherings.
