Life can be confusing and chaotic. Even the people we trust sometimes have their own selfish motives that get in the way. Sometimes resources are abundant, and then the next minute we are left feeling empty. The obstacles that come our way seem to never end. None of this is new.
But here’s the thing: our relationship with God is alive and well. We know our place in His plan, and we’ve taken responsibility for our actions. We’re ready to move forward and clean up the messes we have made.
Next, we need something that can be hard to ask for, and that’s strength. We need the strength to believe, to be bold, to be courageous, to step out of selfishness, and to live peacefully in our businesses, homes, friendships, and even we're alone. We need the strength to live our faith.
When was the last time you asked for strength to live all that you were meant to be? If you want to try something neat, pray in the morning and early afternoon every day this week for strength. The strength to belive and to live, truly live, faithfully. At the end of the week see how your soul and your smile respond to the request for strength.
Until next time I would, love God with everything you have, thank Him for all the good and the bad, and talk with Him often.
